Heywoods Property‘s Managing Director Alistair Trippett has been named a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 2025 Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards, sponsored by the University of Staffordshire.
This highly regarded accolade recognises individuals who have been instrumental to the success of a business—whether through launching a venture from scratch or radically improving the performance of an existing enterprise. At just 26 years old, Alistair Trippett took the bold step of acquiring Heywoods Property, a long-standing estate and lettings agency that was teetering on the brink of administration. In less than three years, he has transformed it into one of the region’s most successful independent agencies.
Since taking the reins in October 2022, Alistair has revived the struggling business by implementing modern digital systems, including platforms such as Kotini and advanced anti-money laundering compliance tools. In 2024, the business achieved over £1 million in revenue, a milestone that reflects his strong commercial instincts.
He has also embedded community values into the company’s culture, leading initiatives such as charitable donations to the Peter Pan Centre and raising over £2,800 for Movember UK through a community-led charity hike.
Heywoods Property continues to grow its presence in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent, and the wider Staffordshire area, known for its customer-first approach, strong local knowledge, and innovative service delivery.
