Developmental Workshop: How to overcome self-doubt for greater confidence
Tue 10th March @ 8:00 am - 10:00 amFree – £10.00
This workshop is all about the phenomenon called Imposter Syndrome.
Imposter Syndrome can be described as “an internal experience of intellectual phoniness” or, in other words, a nagging belief that you personally lack the skills knowledge or competence to fulfil your job, despite external recognition and evidence of good (and often excellent) work. This phenomenon is surprisingly common and has the effect of increased self-doubt and reduced self-confidence.
Coping with Imposter Syndrome by being aware of what it is and how it can be managed leads to increased confidence and self-worth and that’s what this workshop is all about.
Therefore, by the end of the workshop, attendees will:
– understand what Imposter Syndrome is, its characteristics, and consequences
become more aware of their limiting beliefs and how they impact their professional development
learn practical strategies from applied psychology to improve confidence and self-worth
Our facilitator for this workshop will be Dr Emee Vida Estacio, PhD, CPsychol, SFHEA.
Emee is a chartered psychologist and Founder of the PAME Code. She is the number 1 best-selling author of the “Psychology in Your Life” book series, including titles such as “The Imposter Syndrome Remedy”, “Change Your Life for Good”, and “Fear is Not My Enemy”. She designed her flagship coaching programme, Mindset Reset, to empower professionals to embrace their true worth, so they can flourish with confidence at work and in life.
