Future-pro at Keele University

Future-pro: Bringing together local professionals and local undergraduates to look towards a local future.

Future-pro is an annual event that is held in conjunction with each of our local universities, helping to cement relationships between Future Finest, Finest and final year students who are considering a career in professional services.

The key objectives of the event are to:
  • enable undergraduates to meet with local professional services sector businesses and young professionals, helping them to find out about the wide range of skills and expertise that exists here
  • provide the opportunity for undergraduates to develop networking skills and to meet with potential employers
  • use the expertise of local professional services employers to offer ad
From the Future Finest and Finest perspective, the event allows us to reinforce the importance of retaining and developing local talent whilst encouraging students to stay and work in the area (and possibly identifying candidates for work placements or employment).
Future Finest and Finest have been helping with Future-pro events since 2008 and, during that time, over 850 undergraduates have attended. Key to the success of each of those events has been the presence of Future Finest and Finest members and those members that attend find it an immensely enjoyable and rewarding event, on both a personal and professional level.
In essence, Future-pro is therefore a mutually rewarding event that allows members to promote themselves, their businesses and the local area whilst also making a positive impression on, and genuine difference to, local undergraduates.
