No business is immune to a cyber attack so you can’t assume that one won’t happen to you.
With our ever growing reliance on digital mediums we are putting more and more personal and business information on the internet which can leave us open to a cyber attack without the necessary precautions and protection.
The first step to cyber resilience is knowledge. By staying updated on the latest cyber threats, you have a greater chance of preventing attacks on your business.
Detective Inspector Hinesh Mehta, of The Cyber Resilience Centre, will talk about the effect cyber crime has on businesses, the UK Law enforcement response, the history of cyber crime and current threats.

Detective Inspector Hinesh Mehta has been a serving police officer for over 16 years, his most recent role was as a manager of the Regional Cyber Crime Unit.
He’s no stranger to a murder and kidnap investigations exploiting digital technology that he has specialised in and started the countries first Digital Media Investigator Unit.
Hinesh is also heavily involved with the creation of four new cyber investigation teams and ultimately shaping the police response to cybercrime.
Using his wealth of experience over the years as a DI he is not only increasing the skill set of the police force with that knowledge but working on preventing businesses of up to 250 users fall victim to the everchanging cybercrime risk
