Did you know that 1 in people are experiencing mental health problems in the workplace? *
Despite seeing a light at the end of the tunnel towards the end of last year, the nation has been thrust into yet another lockdown which is impacting our mental health, even if we don’t realise it.
The scale of mental health is vast and often only thought of as severe anxiety, depression, and similar challenges. We often discard feelings such as momentary stress and overwhelm as insignificant, but this can severely impact our health.
Working from home, distance-learning, financial struggles and keeping businesses afloat are just some of the many stressors being pulled to the surface every day, and that’s not even taking into account the worry we have for the health of friends and family.
We also forget that these challenges not only affect the person dealing with them, but their loved ones and colleagues as they navigate the tricky waters of difficult conversations and support.
Many businesses across the UK have put protecting the health of their employees at the front of their agenda, but there is still a lot more to do. Even though a wide variety of support is in place, services are often underused due to lack of knowledge, the fear of accepting help or shame felt by those who need it.
We have partnered with leading healthcare and wellbeing providers to share practical and useful information on how you can help yourself as well as those around you in the battle against mental health. Future Finest Wellbeing Event is here to remove the stigma and share the knowledge that every individual should have access to. From professional services to meditation apps and self-help techniques, there is something for everyone! Remember, you are not alone.

To have something so comforting torn away in a moment can be devastating. In her presentation, ‘Who Cares For The Carer’, Helen will share visualisations and self-help techniques including how to give yourself a hug!
