Panel with the Pros: Wellbeing and the Workplace
Thu 16th January @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am UTC+0Free – £10.00
Wellbeing – what does it mean for you and your business – recruitment, retention, profitability?
Or is it more about positive attitudes, emotional resilience and personal contentedness?
Answering those (and many other) questions is what this event is all about!
We’re bringing together a number of specialists from the world of wellbeing for a series of interactive round-table discussions with goal of finding out more about what wellbeing is all about, exploring its benefits and seeing how it applies on both a personal and professional level. To maximise the effectiveness of this event, each specialist will address wellbeing from a different angle.
Our specialists are:
• Dr Emee Vida Estacio (www.thepamecode.com)
Emee will be talking about Imposter Syndrome, its characteristics, how it impacts personal and professional development and why we need to learn how to manage it effectively.
• Julie Bailey (www.juliebailey-lifecoach.co.uk)
Focussing on effective communication about Mental Health, Julie will be sharing the ALRIGHT model to start conversations and how to become “Wellness role models” and “Change Agents” within your workplace
• Helen Dos Santos (www.horizonscoaching.co.uk)
Helen will be talking about how mental and emotional resilience can be supported in the workplace. Businesses investing in staff wellbeing usually notice a reduction in both sickness absence and presenteeism
• Mark Savill (www.mysimplemortgage.co.uk)
Financial worries can have a significant effect on an individual’s mental wellbeing and performance at work and so Mark will be addressing how to care for and improve your employee’s (and your own) financial wellbeing
• Alex Nicholls and Jake Wilkie (www.freeths.co.uk)
Wellbeing has always been a big part of Freeths’ culture and Alex and Jake will talk about what Freeths Solicitors do on a practical level about wellbeing, the effect that’s had on the business and their own personal involvement in it
Due to the interactive format of this event you’ll also get the chance to ask questions of each of our specialists so you can get as much out of the event as you can.
It will be a great way to get the year off on the right foot!
