Staffordshire Chambers’ of Commerce is proud to announce the official launch of a new policy forum to support our member businesses operating in the hospitality sector, as well as those who are keen to lend their support to the sector.
Rising labour costs, soaring energy prices, food inflation and evolving customer expectations are just some of the headwinds facing hospitality businesses. Here in Staffordshire, we have a rich mix of hospitality businesses, from fine dining to pub grub, from cocktails to craft beers, from hotels to health clubs and spas.
Hospitality is at the heart of our local economy. A sector which provides exceptional experiences for residents and visitors but also create jobs and drives growth and prosperity.
However, it’s also a sector facing very unique challenges and hardly a week goes by without reading of the collapse of yet another hospitality business and that’s why we’re keen to give a voice to our hospitality businesses.
Staffordshire Chambers’ of Commerce is the voice of local business and our nine specifically tailored sector forums bring together business leaders, drawn exclusively from our diverse Chambers’ membership. The forums are a great opportunity to meet experts in your field, raise any potential issues and share new opportunities within the Staffordshire business community. Guest speakers will join us for informative updates on key economic issues. Our forums steer our policy making process, ensuring that your voice is heard by decision makers.
Our newHospitality Forum has been created to address the key issues head-on by fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and amplifying the voice of hospitality businesses within the Chamber network.
The inaugural meeting of our Hospitality Forum will take place on Monday 26th January 2026, from 9AM. The meeting will be hosted at our Commerce House office in Stoke-on-Trent (ST1 5BE), with the option to join on MS Teams. Membership of our Hospitality Forum is open to all Chamber members operating within the hospitality sector or members with an interest in lending support to the sector.
If you would like to join us on Monday 26th January, please book through the events page of our website.
