IronMarket Named Category Finalist in Staffordshire Business Awards.

Wealth management firm IronMarket has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Professional Services of the Year award at the 2025 Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards. The category, sponsored by NSCG, recognises excellence in service delivery, leadership, employee development, and social responsibility across the professional services sector.

Based in Staffordshire, IronMarket has grown from a traditional financial advisory firm into what it describes as a “wealth empowerment collective”, offering financial planning, commercial insurance advice, and recruitment services under one roof. Its model centres around its “Net-Worth Ntwrk” – a membership community that combines mentorship, investment guidance, and education.

The company’s entry into the awards highlighted its performance across several key areas, including client satisfaction, community engagement, and internal culture with judges assessing factors such as business sustainability, leadership, and the ability to perform beyond sector expectations.

In the past year, IronMarket has expanded its offer to include IronMarket Risk, which provides business insurance support, and IronMarket Talent, which focuses on recruitment. The firm also hosted several events aimed at improving financial literacy, including its own “INVESTIVAL” conference and a series of women’s wealth workshops.

In addition to its client-facing services, IronMarket has invested in staff development, including flexible working, mental health support, and career pathway programmes. The business reports that 50% of its team is currently working towards professional qualifications, and that it maintains a gender-balanced senior leadership team.

The company has also maintained a strong presence in the local community through its charity work, student outreach programmes, and a partnership with Port Vale Football Club.

IronMarket’s nomination adds to a growing list of recent recognitions, including the VouchedFor Top Rated Advice Firm 2025. CEO Wes Wilkes was also named Entrepreneur of the Year at last year’s Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Awards.
