The second consecutive Queens Award follows the previous win in 2015, presented to organisations with outstanding performance in international trade, innovation and sustainable development, recognising those businesses that make a valuable contribution to the UK economy each year.
As the UK’s most prestigious business award and the highest accolade any business can receive, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are made each year by the Queen and are awarded on the recommendation and advice of the Prime Minister, and is subject to the most detailed and rigorous application process.

This year marks the 55th Anniversary of the Queen’s award and we pay tribute to the role played by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in originally establishing Her Majesty’s Awards in 1965 which led to the creation of the Queen’s Award to Industry.

The awards are usually announced on the Queen’s birthday but were delayed until today due to the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh
