Plinkfizz pooch’s parade on once again

Trent Vale based, integrated marketing agency Plinkfizz will be pulling on their walking boots on Saturday 7th March for the second time to support City Dogs Home after a great first response.

A year on from the first Pooch Parade, the team and its clients will be rounding their pets up again for a fun walk in aid of the Bucknall based dog charity.

The original event was held to mark Plinkfizz’s 15th anniversary and it’s love of man’s four-legged friends.

Jasper Hawkins, Plinkfizz’s CEO of Happiness will be taking the lead once again and guiding his dedicated doggy posse, and everybody else who would love to join in, around Central Forest Park.

Pooch Parade is about supporting the local animal rescue charity with more than just money, it’s about providing the support it needs the most. Therefore, Plinkfizz aims to gather a bounty of essential supplies for the rescue centre and walkers are invited to bring donations.

The agency hopes to get a large turnout for the event, and everyone is welcome to join in. The walk starts and ends at the car park at Central Forest Park, in Sneyd Green, on Saturday March 7th at 10am with the walking loop taking an average walking time of 1 hour.

Donations of any of the following items which are much needed by the shelter include:

  • Bedding and sheets (but nothing with stuffing inside)
  • Dry and tinned food for small and large dogs
  • Tough toys to entertain the pooches
  • Doggie treats

Fiona Hawkins, managing director at Plinkfizz said: “Plinkfizz is an office of dog lovers with many team members bring their pooches in when our CEO Jasper is out on important business.

“We had a great turn out last year for the charity walk and we’d love to see an even bigger response this time. Our staff and clients, with or without dogs, will be joining in the fun but anyone and everyone is invited to get involved and help us gather much needed essentials for our four legged friends at City Dogs Home.

“The City Dogs Home is close to our hearts at Plinkfizz and so it made sense to continue supporting them as they do such great work for the dogs of Stoke-on-Trent, we hope that we can gather plenty of donations to be able to support the charity in all the good work they do.”

Plinkfizz will have a donations box for all items for the City Dogs Home for those who want to donate but can’t make the event.
