Closed meeting
The Chambers’ Council develops and ratifies the Chambers’ policy and lobby work, to help the Board and the Chambers’ executives to be in touch with business issues affecting our membership. It is used as a sounding board for policy matters and to receive reports of the Forums to ensure that they too, are representing the business community.
The Chambers’ Council is made up of a maximum of 36 elected Members, the Chambers President, Deputy President and honorary Treasurer, the Stafford Chamber President, the Staffordshire Moorlands Chamber President, Finest and Futurefinest Chairs, all our sector Forum Chairs and has representation from our universities, the armed forces, a faith leader and representation from other membership bodies. The elected Members serve a 3 year term with a maximum of 2 terms starting at our Annual General Meeting.
