Promtek Announced as Finalist for Small Business of the Year.

Promtek Limited, a Staffordshire-based industrial automation specialist, has been named a finalist in the Small Business of the Year category at the 2025 Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards, proudly sponsored by Sempar.

With over 50 years of experience, Promtek delivers cutting-edge software and hardware solutions to manufacturing industries across the globe. The company’s expertise spans manufacturing execution systems (MES), recipe management, and process control, helping clients in sectors such as animal feed, food and beverage, chemicals, and building materials enhance efficiency, traceability, and compliance.

Over the last year, Promtek has experienced a 20% increase in revenue and has maintained an average 17% year-on-year growth over the past three years. This consistent performance is supported by a growing international presence, including a subsidiary in Africa and a strategic partnership with India-based Logicon Technosolutions to expand into South Asia. Their global customer base now includes clients in the USA, Mexico, Slovakia, and Sri Lanka.

Innovation continues to drive the company’s growth. In 2024, Promtek launched the Condor Microman system, a new extension of its MES platform offering digital traceability and accuracy in manual weighing processes.

The company’s success has also been recognised within the wider industry. Promtek was named runner-up in the MAKE UK SME of the Year 2024 awards and a finalist in the 2025 Food Manufacture Excellence Awards. It has also been shortlisted for three categories in the 2025 SHAPA Awards: Company of the Year, Sustainability Award, and Innovation in Training & Development.
