Trustee vacancy with Emmaus North Staffs

Charity Emmaus North Staffs is looking to appoint a Trustee to help drive the charity forward.

Applicants with a passion and desire to make a difference to hundreds of local families along with retail, SME or business experience are sought.

The Trustee will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and development of Emmaus Furniture Mine.

Emmaus Furniture Mine is North Staffordshire’s largest furniture reuse charity which is owned and operated by Emmaus North Staffs, a charity which helps to support the most vulnerable in society, in particular those who have recently been homeless.

Emmaus North Staffs, based in Hanley, was established in February 2017 and is part of a global movement of homelessness charities in 37 different countries.

Furniture Mine has been running for 29 years and the two now work together to encourage recently homeless people to rebuild their lives in a supportive environment with meaningful work to develop new skills and experiences.
