RAB Consultants is proud to celebrate Sophie Dusting, Resilience Consultant and Business Continuity lead, who has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Employee of the Year Award at the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Business Awards 2025, sponsored by Ornua.
This award recognises an individual who demonstrates exceptional initiative, impact, and dedication.
Sophie is the driving force behind RAB’s rising national profile in business continuity and emergency preparedness. She recently won the Business Continuity Institute’s Continuity & Resilience Consultant of the Year 2024 (Europe)—an achievement that highlights her extensive expertise and industry leadership.
Sophie has developed robust, client-focused templates for Business Continuity Plans and Business Impact Analyses, now widely adopted across both public and private sector clients—and even internally at RAB. Her work consistently earns 100% 5/5 client satisfaction ratings, with feedback praising her professionalism, independence, and results-driven approach.
As a testament to her commercial impact, Sophie has maintained a 70% tender success rate, securing long-term contracts and helping position RAB as the sole supplier for Emergency Planning (Lot 1) on the Environment Agency’s Emergency Preparedness Framework—a major win for the company.
Beyond her technical brilliance, Sophie regularly supports colleagues through knowledge-sharing sessions and one-to-one mentoring, particularly in exercise design and facilitation. Her dedication and innovation continue to raise the bar—supporting not only RAB’s services but also the resilience of the communities and clients the company supports across the UK.
