Chef Lucas Catering Services has been announced as a finalist for the Start-Up & Step-Up Business Award at the 2026 Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards, sponsored by Staffordshire County Council.

Launched as a sole trader in 2023 and incorporated just a year later, Chef Lucas Catering Services has grown quickly by combining fine dining expertise with contemporary street food concepts, filling a genuine gap in the market for flexible, bespoke event catering. Turnover rose from £107,000 in 2024 to £286,000 in 2025, with projections pointing toward £617,000 in 2026. The business now employs six full-time staff alongside a freelance team and is targeting a dedicated production and events facility to support further scaling.

Spanning private dining, weddings, corporate functions and premium street food, the offer is broad but consistently delivered. A 5-star Google rating and a growing base of repeat corporate clients reflect a business that has moved quickly from start-up to credible regional player.

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday 9 July 2026, followed by The After Party, a late-night celebration for finalists, winners and partners.
