Currie Young has been announced as a finalist for the Professional Services of the Year Award at the 2026 Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards, sponsored by Plinkfizz.

Founded in Stoke-on-Trent in 2015, Currie Young has grown into a trusted insolvency and restructuring advisory firm working across Staffordshire, the West Midlands and the North West. The model is deliberately boutique, with senior partners staying directly involved in every engagement, meaning faster decisions and more accountable advice than larger, more layered practices tend to offer. That approach has built a strong referral network among accountants, solicitors and lenders, with the firm increasingly brought in earlier in client situations and supporting a broader range of businesses as a result.

Community commitment runs through the CY x Community initiative, backing organisations including Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, Dougie Mac Hospice and Queensberry Boxing Club. A fully paperless office and hybrid and electric vehicle fleet round out a business that takes responsible practice seriously without making a performance of it.

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday 9 July 2026, followed by The After Party, a late-night celebration for finalists, winners and partners.
