Staffordshire Chambers’ partnership with AMB Insurance Services Ltd is already delivering measurable value for local businesses, following the completion of one of the first complimentary Insurance Health Checks offered through the initiative.

Smart School Uniform, a long-established, family-run business operating across three sites, is among the first Chamber members to take part in the programme.

Through the Chamber Health Check, AMB Insurance carried out a complimentary on-site review of each location to gain a clear understanding of the business’s activities and risk profile.

The review helped clarify existing arrangements, identify areas where cover could be strengthened, and explore options available to better align protection with the business’s needs.

As a result of the tailored approach, Smart School Uniform also achieved a reduction in insurance premiums of approximately 5%, while gaining greater confidence that its cover accurately reflects its operations across all three premises.

The process also supported improved understanding among the business’s leadership team around how insurance policies are designed to respond, helping to set clearer expectations and reduce uncertainty in the future.

The case study demonstrates how the Chamber Health Check initiative is helping to foster stronger advisory relationships between local businesses and professional service providers, delivering both practical insight and peace of mind.

AMB Insurance is currently working with further Chamber members through the Insurance Health Check programme, with early outcomes reinforcing the value of proactive, consultative insurance support within Staffordshire’s business community.
