Better Connected: Government Transport Strategy

8 April 2026

Department for Business and Trade restructure.

From 1 April 2026, the Department for Business and Trade is transforming the way that we deliver our services, to make them easier to access for all businesses who need them. Our Export Support Services will in future be delivered through  a “digital first” national service, which will deliver a more accessible, more consistent universal support offer online, available to many more businesses across the UK, with a smaller 1-1 advisory service targeted at active growth or export opportunities. This means that, depending on your stage in your export/growth journey, the way that you access our services will change and you may receive future support in a different way.

Please see links and guidance below to access our digital support offer. We are building on this during 2026 and into the future to ensure that the services that you and all UK businesses need are included.
