Why are there 3 registration portals?
We want the tea parties to represent our wonderful and diverse communities, so we are offering three options:
- To host your own event and be a part of the Big Centenary Tea Party, meaning you can eat / drink whatever your community would like
- Register to be a part of the world record attempt – this has strict criteria associated with it and will be checked to confirm the criteria has been met.
- Register to be a part of the Big Centenary Tea Party at the Victoria Hall. Seats will be £10 per person and all monies raised will go into a centenary legacy pot for groups to apply to in 2026. Attendees will be asked to bring their own cream tea for the event and this will be an official hub for the world record attempt.
How many people need to be at the tea party?
You can have as many as you would like! For the record attempt you will need a minimum of 25 people.
Can I get help organising an event?
Please e mail teaparty@staffordshirechambers.co.uk if you would like to attend a training event and once we have a confirmed number then VAST will host a training event
