Bri-Stor Systems has been announced as a finalist for the Sustainability & Environment Award at the 2026 Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards, sponsored by Capula.

Founded in 1983 and operating from Staffordshire, Bri-Stor Systems converts more than 8,000 light commercial vehicles annually for operators including Network Rail, Openreach, British Gas and Halfords. A record 2025 saw turnover grow from £42m to £50m, underpinned by a clear strategic shift toward sustainability-led engineering. The company’s HEX360 framework delivered 310,558kg of CO2 reduced in 2025, 1,376 tonnes of materials recycled, and lithium power solutions projected to save 1.1 million kg of CO2 annually across Halfords’ fleet alone.

Bri-Stor also became the first LCV converter to use full-scale virtual reality prototyping, cutting lead times by up to 30% and reducing material waste, with a credible pathway to carbon neutrality by 2037.

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday 9 July 2026, followed by The After Party, a late-night celebration for finalists, winners and partners.
