Comp Door has been announced as a finalist for the Innovation, Science & Technology Award at the 2026 Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards, sponsored by EPX IT.
Launched in November 2021 with a team of two, Comp Door has grown into one of the UK’s fastest-growing composite door manufacturers, reaching over 95 employees and turnover exceeding £20 million in just four years. Innovation has driven every stage. SleekSkin, a composite door industry-first finish delivering a hand-painted aesthetic, has opened up the premium market. Kubu Smart Technology, integrated as standard, allows homeowners to monitor door security via smartphone. A barcode-driven CNC manufacturing system underpins both, enabling precision at scale and a 99% on-time, in-full delivery rate.
With plans to scale to 200 doors per day and expand nationally, Comp Door is building infrastructure to match its ambition.

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday 9 July 2026, followed by The After Party, a late-night celebration for finalists, winners and partners.
