Goodwin International has been announced as a finalist for the Medium/Large Business of the Year Award at the 2026 Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards, sponsored by Dains Accountants.
Rooted in Stoke-on-Trent since 1883, Goodwin International produces high-integrity engineered components and flow-control products for nuclear, defence, petrochemical and power generation applications. With 41 CNC machines, 250,000+ machining hours per year and 24/7 three-shift production, clients include Rolls-Royce, Sellafield, BP and GE Power.
Turnover has grown strongly year on year, with the wider Mechanical Engineering Division reporting 55% pre-tax profit growth in FY2024. Of 343 employees, 45 are apprentices, 95% of whom stay to build long-term careers. Planning approval secured in 2025 for two new production units is expected to create up to 100 further skilled jobs in Staffordshire.

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday 9 July 2026, followed by The After Party, a late-night celebration for finalists, winners and partners.
