SIXTOWNS by Bros Distillery has been announced as a finalist for the Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism Award at the 2026 Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards, sponsored by Wilkinson Collective.
Founded in 2020 and rooted in the heritage of Stoke-on-Trent’s six towns, SIXTOWNS by Bros Distillery has grown into one of Staffordshire’s most distinctive visitor experiences, offering gin tours, cocktail masterclasses and the Spirit Academy, where guests distil their own spirit under expert guidance. In 2025 the distillery welcomed over 14,000 visitors, a 20% increase on the previous year, with satisfaction ratings of 4.9 on TripAdvisor and 4.8 on both Google and Trustpilot.
The signature bottle, inspired by the city’s kiln skyline, is sourced from a local ceramics manufacturer. Expansion is under way, with a larger purpose-built space set to add a fully equipped kitchen and greater event capacity. A Net Zero operational commitment and fully accessible venue complete a well-rounded and responsibly run offer.
Stuart Elford, Chief Executive of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “SIXTOWNS has built something that is distinctively and proudly Stoke-on-Trent, from the bottle design to the stories told on every tour. Over 14,000 visitors in a year, satisfaction scores that most hospitality businesses would be delighted with, and a Net Zero commitment that reflects genuine values. They are a brilliant ambassador for Staffordshire’s visitor economy and a very worthy finalist.”
The winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday 9 July 2026, followed by The After Party, a late-night celebration for finalists, winners and partners.
