Comp Door has been announced as a finalist for the Medium/Large Business of the Year Award at the 2026 Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards, sponsored by Dains Accountants.
Launched in November 2021 with two members of staff, Comp Door has grown into a £20m+ manufacturer employing over 95 people in Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme. Turnover rose from £1.9m in 2022 to just under £21m in 2025, a more than tenfold increase in three years, with 26 new jobs created in the past year alone.
Product development has kept pace with commercial growth. The proprietary SleekSkin finish, smart security technology as standard, and new ranges including the Border Door and Peak Door have helped redefine expectations in the composite door sector. Over £500,000 of manufacturing investment supports a CNC-driven production system delivering 99% on-time, in-full performance.

The winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Thursday 9 July 2026, followed by The After Party, a late-night celebration for finalists, winners and partners.
