WORKPLACE WELLBEING

Having a healthy workforce can reduce sickness absence, lower staff turnover and boost productivity.

In fact, a positive workplace is good for employers, workers and the wider economy, which is why we are supporting businesses by guiding them through the Workplace Wellbeing Charter.

The Charter provides employers with an easy guide on how to make workplaces a supportive and productive environment where employees can flourish.

Businesses of all sizes can use the Charter standards. The entry level has been developed as a baseline and acts as a useful checklist for smaller organisations to ensure legal obligations are met.

Sarah Colclough, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce Charter Assessor, said: “The Workplace Wellbeing Programme is fully funded by Stoke-on-Trent City Council. Alongside obvious benefits the sessions are a fantastic opportunity to network with businesses who are working towards a healthier workforce.”

There are still some funded places available for Stoke-on-Trent businesses, get in touch for more information.
