Who should attend?
This course is tailored for individuals who need to acquire essential knowledge and skills to administer emergency first aid in the workplace. It is particularly beneficial for designated first aiders, employees, and anyone interested in enhancing their ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Level 3 Award aligns with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
You will gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for emergency first aid situations in the workplace. Key benefits include understanding the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, minimising the risk of infection through proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hygiene practices, gaining consent effectively, conducting thorough scene and primary surveys, summoning appropriate assistance, administering CPR, and responding to various emergencies, such as choking, external bleeding, shock, and minor injuries.

Assessment & Accreditation
A 30-minute multiple-choice examination and practical observations in various first aid scenarios. Successful participants will receive the Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF), providing you with a recognised qualification.
